Resourcing Women Farmers, One Seed at a Time

Kakita Initiative for Women's Development (KIWOD) is a non-profit, women-led organization founded in 2016. What began as an effort by 75 women from various farmer savings groups in Katakwi has now grown into a national organization working in across Teso, West Nile, Acholi, and Lango subregions.
